Penn State bounced back from an ugly week one win on Saturday as it used a 37-point second half to dominate the Pittsburgh Panthers and walk out of Heinz Field with a 51-6 win. The Nittany Lions now find themselves ranked No. 11, moving up two spots from last week.

The Nittany Lions inclusion in this week’s poll is their 27th consecutive week in the AP Top 25, one of the top active streaks in that nation. https://collegefootball.ap.org/poll

The rest of the Big Ten was well represented as well with five teams among the Top 25. Ohio Sate stood pat in this week’s ranking, staying at the 4th overall spot while Wisconsin dropped to 6th in the country. Michigan State entered the weekend as the 15th ranked team, but is nearly out of the Top 25 now, dropping all the way to No. 25 following a 16-13 loss to Arizona State. Michigan saw themselves climb two spots from No. 21 as it will enter its week three matchup against SMU as the 19th ranked team in the nation.
